The Resource Basket offers training, assistance and resources to tribes and youth organizations that serve Alaska Native youth (ages 12-18) living in rural Alaska. RurAL CAP and its partners recognize that each community has unique needs and strengths; we strive to offer customized training and technical assistance to meet those needs. The Resource Basket is funded by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP).
Sometimes a simple phone call can help someone think through what is needed and decide the next steps for action! Our “technical” assistance provides phone or in-person consultation to support, think-through, plan, implement and/or evaluate youth programs and services.
We can respond to your online or phone request with web-based resources, individualized technical assistance, connecting with partners or experts, and community-based training or technical assistance (as funding allows).
